It connects people with Legal Document Assistants and attorneys who are qualified to assist, and those professionals are responsible for the services they provide.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. A gift may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, but we do not give tax advice and the treatment of any particular gift depends on your own circumstances. Speak to your own tax professional.

5. Fiscal Sponsorship

Fiscal sponsorship is governed by the written Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement signed for that project, not by this website. We maintain legal control and discretion over all charitable funds we receive, and we are responsible for ensuring those funds are used consistently with our charitable purposes, donor restrictions, and applicable law. Sponsorship is not the use or rental of our nonprofit status or our EIN, and it does not create an attorney-client, employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship unless a separate written agreement expressly provides for one.

6. Animal Placement

Nothing here is a promise that a particular animal is available or that any application will be approved. Placements depend on the animals in our care at the time and on what suits both the animal and the home.

7. Accuracy of Information

We keep this website up to date as best we can, but we do not promise that every detail is current or free of error. Images are illustrative and do not depict a specific animal, person, or outcome unless the page says otherwise.
